How does Compose work?
Design the newsletter once in MailPoet and mark the part that repeats. Your entries fill that area and you get a draft to review. No copy-paste, no CSV export. For the reasoning behind it, read why Gravity Forms entries are the content source MailPoet never had.

Can one issue have multiple sections?
Yes. Three featured items up top and the rest as a compact list, or alternating layouts per entry: you decide the sections, the entries fill them.

Does anything send automatically?
No. A generated newsletter lands in MailPoet as a draft and waits for you. You review it, then send or schedule it yourself.

Do I need to learn merge tags?
If you have used Gravity Forms notifications, you already know them. And the starter templates come with the tags in place, so most setups never write one by hand.

Can one form feed more than one newsletter?
Yes. A form can have several Compose configurations, each with its own template, subject and filtering. One submission form can feed a weekly roundup, a jobs list and an events bulletin, with each configuration taking only the entries that belong to it.
